It's time for... The favorite manga thread!
What do you like?
I generally prefer the anime to manga in almost all cases -- Having sound, music and voice is important to me.
But! That doesn't mean I don't enjoy a good read.
I've really liked reading Hana yori dango, Slam Dunk, Video Girl Ai, Dragon Ball, and Shaman King.

- Legal Drug
- and many yaois
and those are the ones I can remember and own. I enjoyed those though the most!

Rurouni Kenshin was a must read for me because the anime didn't go through the whole story line of the series.
Blade of the immortal is just so beautiful with it's two page spreads of battles that the anime has nothing on it. The anime tried to reproduce the effect and it wasn't anywhere near the same thing.
Those are two series that you just need to read the manga to get the whole effect of the story and character development. Plus it was only recently that Blade of the immortal had an anime made for it so you had no choice but to read it.

I like Law of Ueki and Hunter X Hunter. Not the typical shonen "everybody battles everybody else" kind of series. Well, they do in Ueki, but the battles are at least interesting! And since probably no one else will mention them, Club 9 and What's Michael? are both cute. Who doesn't like adorable cat stories? Also, I'm enjoying Dorothy of Oz.

Oh god, so many manga's to choose from! I read manga more then I watch anime... but I think my top favourites (again in no specific order) are Rurouni Kenshin, DNAngel, Godchild (as depressing as it is T_T), Death Note, and Princess Princess.
I love the DNAngel manga, but I don't find the anime as good :| idk why...
