Stephen Kohler, the Gaming Coordinator at Genericon, sent out a message via the mailing list (below) regarding the need for video games, consoles and controllers at the con this year. Be sure to help out to make the games room bigger and better than ever by lending some items! He can be reached at kohles (at) rpi.edu.
"Hi there, everyone! Stephen, your friendly Genericon Gaming Coordinator,
here. So, we're almost back to school, and I know what's on all your
minds; bringing me lots and lots of video game stuff!!!!!
Right?
Well, just in case it's not, here's a friendly reminder: BRING ME STUFF.
We'll take anything; consoles, games, controllers, TVs (especially
TV's).
What I'm especially looking for is stuff for the following games; Rock
Band, BlazBlue, Street Fighter 4, Gears of War 2, Halo 3, Super Smash
Bros; Melee, and Brawl. That means games and consoles (with stuff
unlocked, if the console has memory.) For consoles that don't, if you
would be willing to loan me your memory cards (me, personally, they will
only be used for the tournaments needed), I would be appreciative.
If you're bringing me stuff for the tournaments listed above, I would
appreciate an E-Mail telling me so, so I know if I need to rent
anything.
If you're just bringing your collection, you don't have to E-Mail me,
just bring it! I'll see you all soon, and remember: (Only three weeks
and
two days until Genericon!!!!!)
