masako yamada Wrote:Hello Folks -- just wanted to let you know that I've put down the deposit for Blatnick Park in Niskayuna for the JCACD picnic to be held on Sunday, August 30th. Please save the date! More information will follow, but for the time being, please let your friends know that the event will go on and we are actively seeking volunteers to organize events/games for the picnic.
What: JCACD Summer Picnic and Bazaar
*Park amenities: Pavilion can accommodate about 75 people and has a BBQ grill. Park also has baseball fields, skate park, playground, pond, basketball courts, driving range, covered pavilion, separate restrooms, tennis courts and Mohawk River and Bike Path access
*Other Japan-related events: we'd love to have as many fun games/events as possible for JCACD families. Please offer names of volunteers who could contribute to the event.
*Bazaar: please let me know if you've like to reserve a picnic table for the bazaar. We will be charging $15 "rent" per table.
