Thanos End Game
#1
The clip, which you'll view on streaming service Disney Plus, is an alternate version of a conversation between Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and therefore the Ancient One (Tilda Swinton) featured within the film.

Swinton’s character are often seen telling Hulk that removing an Infinity Stone creates a replacement timeline. But she then goes on to reveal something that was omitted from the film – that she’s used the Time Stone to ascertain beyond her very own death.

It’s here where she drops the large revelation that Thanos’s destructive finger-snap, which exhausted half all existence, didn’t actually kill one person.

She explains that, instead of kill people, Thanos willed them out of existence, which made their resurrection possible.

While this conveniently explains why Scarlett Johansson’s Latrodectus mactans – who died trying to bring everyone back – couldn’t be resurrected, it also reveals what might be a future issue for the heroes, namely that Thanos remains alive.

Avengers: Endgame ended with Tony Stark snapping his fingers and wiping out Thanos and his army, much within the same way that Thanos exhausted half the Avengers.

If all those that were willed out of existence can return within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, then Thanos certainly can.

Exactly how the series’s writers could bring him back may be a mystery, but perhaps there’ll be another villain looking to enlist the services of the Mad Titan for his or her future plans.

Either way, it’s probably nice for Marvel bosses to understand that they will bring back Thanos should they ever want to.

Avengers: Endgame is out there to stream on Disney Plus. Find our ranking of each character – from worst to best.
