Zombie Walk 2009 (10/24/09)

On Saturday October 24th
Zombie Walk from Lark Street BID at 245 Lark St to The Linda at 339 Central Ave a total of 1.05 miles. The parade will stage at 4pm, begin at 5pm and terminate at 7pm. 4pm-5pm People gather for walk at Lark Street BID at 245Lark St (Trinity Church parking lot additional staging area) Once at the Linda we will conduct the Thriller Dance off and brain eating competition

5pm -6pm Walk begins (Sunset: 6:03pm)

6pm-7pm Walk terminates at The Linda 339 Central Ave

6pm-7pm Thriller Dance off and Brain Eating Competition

Rules of Zombie Walk:

1. Do not touch anyone.
2. Do not attempt to scare anyone who is not a willing participant.
3. Please be respectful to businesses while in the parade.
4. Stay on the sidewalk through out the course of the walk and obey Police and parade marshals, do not block traffic
5. DRESS LIKE A ZOMBIE & WALK LIKE A ZOMBIE
The Zombie Walk is not a speed-walking event. Zombies lurch, crawl, limp, slither, etc. Imagine more of a Romero zombie, not one of these new-fangled "running" zombies.
6. No drugs. No alcohol
7. No littering, destruction of property, or any other illegal activity. Pretend downtown is your own neighborhood and show the utmost respect. This is something we would like to do every year and we don't want to ruin it. Remember, the media will be watching us (along with the Albany Police) So don't dribble your guts, flesh, brains or fake blood all over.
